PERMIT TO CARRY*
Thank you for expressing interest in obtaining your MN Permit to Carry a Pistol.  This is a right that over 160,000 MN residents have embraced since the inception of the law in 2003.

The class will look at not only the laws concerning carrying a pistol in MN but perhaps even more importantly how to put into place a whole-life Personal Protection Plan.  This plan will help you to become more aware of your surroundings which in turn can help you to avoid situations in which you may need to resort to drawing and using your firearm.

The topics on of discussion will be as follows:

1.       STATISTICS AND TRENDS

2.       DEVELOPING A PERSONAL PROTECTION PLAN

3.       SELF-DEFENSE FIREARM BASICS

4.       SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS

5.       THE LEGAL USE OF FORCE

6.       VIOLENT ENCOUNTERS & THEIR AFTERMATH

7.       GEAR AND GADGETS

8.       BASIC AND ADVANCED SKILLS

In addition to attending the classroom time you will be required to prove proficiency with a handgun of your choice. You will be required to shoot a minimum of 20 rounds at a distance from 21 feet. We require a firearm caliber that is sufficient for self defense (380acp or larger). If you do not have a firearm of your own, one will be provided for you to qualify (one box of 9mm ammo will cost $15 for use in the provided firearm).

If you would like to reserve a seat to our next carry class, stop into our shop or fill out our form to be invoiced.

Thanks again for your interest in obtaining your permit to carry and we look forward to seeing you in class soon.
*NOTE: ALL CLASS FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, BUT THEY ARE TRANSFERABLE
